SPECIAL DINING OPTIONS

We can arrange for a fantastic local chef to come to the house with fresh seafood and cook a meal for you. Tell us in advance if you’re interested.

Also - just 10 minutes from Home Farm along the one road behind the house there’s a 500 year-old stone bothy lit entirely by candles – the site for a thoroughly off-grid private dining experience ideal for a birthday or treat. One of the region’s best chefs, Tim Kensett (previously of The River Café and Goldeneye in Jamaica) prepares and cooks an 8-course dinner for 2-12 guests of entirely locally sourced produce, herbs and flowers on an open beach-wood fire in a lean-to kitchen on the site. The food is sensationally creative and delicious. Oysters with wild primrose; red deer from the glen with sorrel and leek braised on embers; scallops with fennel and rhubarb …. home-made cheeses, sorbets, sourdough bread, all of it beautifully presented too. £95 pp for 8 courses + wine. Note that you really do have to book in advance. Speak to us and we’ll arrange.
